State Garden Spinach & Spring Mix E. coli Lawsuits & Litigation

Marler Clark represents several victims of a 33-person E. coli outbreak that was traced to Wegmans Organic Spinach and Spring Mix sold at Wegmans stores on the East Coast in October, 2012. The spinach was distributed by State Garden, a Massachusetts-based company.

The law firm filed the first lawsuit against State Garden on behalf of a woman who lives in the Rochester, NY area on November 14, 2012. The firm filed a second E. coli lawsuit against State Garden on November 27, and a third on December 4.

State Garden issued a recall of Wegmans Organic Spinach & Spring Mix sold in 5 oz. and 11 oz. clam shell packages in early November, after New York State health officials traced the E. coli outbreak to the product.
